Animals have always been a huge part of my love for life and my family. I have always wanted to have my own business doing something I love and enjoy greatly.
Being the owner of horses and dogs I have a real understanding of how sometimes life can be very hectic with a feeling that you can't quite fit it all in. Let me help you out with that!
I am very flexible with the hours that I can work and am competitively priced. I have many years experienced with a variety of animals. I am licensed with Gloucester City Council for dog bDBS/CRB checked, fully insured and hold a certificate in dog first aid.
Testimonials
"Our dog has boarded with Lucy twice this year and is due to board again soon. Lucy has also done some dog walks stepping in to help when I couldn't walk him myself. Alby loves Lucy which is reassuring as he is wary of strangers. Lucy is helpful, professional and is great at what she does. I trust her completely to have Alby and know he is well looked after. I recommend her services and am glad we found her.!

"Lucy has been fantastic from the very start!
After my Husband ceased to be Self-Employed we needed assistance with our two girls. After 2 days with another Dog Walker, who ran a Doggy Day Care service as well, we were let down at short notice, as our anxious Collie-x barked too much at all the visitors. In hindsight we had chosen the wrong placement and person. Therefore, our next step was to speak to a Dog Behaviourist and Lucy was recommended to us. Her knowledge and passion has been a blessing for us all. Even after the last walker, Lucy has managed to reassure and settled me (anxious parent-x) through daily communication and her caring attitude. I not only trust her 100% but I am thrilled with the way she has not only walked them, but worked hard to continue to train them both as well. Our Labrador (15 months) is endearing and easy, however, Myfi (anxious Collie-x) can be testing and it has been a 2 year journey to get her to where we are now. Lucy saw her loving nature straight away and wanted to help her through her anxious behaviours. She introduced us to whistle training, as well as being consistent in all the other training techniques we use. This has proved to be very successful and it makes me happy to see the way Myfi responds to it. The icing on the cake, however, was when I was off work ill. Lucy had only been walking Myfi and Ethel for a week, but when she opened the door and the initial barks turned to recognition, they were absolutely thrilled to see her. They did their ‘love me more/ first’ dances/ side-bashes to be close to her. Ethel, bless her, is easily pleased, but to have this effect on Myfi’s heart so quickly (especially as she has a protective issue over me) was a sure-stamp."

"Lucy has been brilliant from the very first time that we met her. George is our first dog and Lucy has been great at giving suggestions on various training ideas which have helped massively. George absolutely loves his group dog walks with Lucy once a week and we have all seen such a positive difference in him.
Lucy has looked after George whilst we have been away and we had regular updates and reassurance that he had a fantastic time with her. I would not hesitate to recommend Lucy for both dog walking and home boarding. So glad we found her!"
